Work on RasMol, CBFlib and CQRlib is the result of the efforts of many people throughout the structural biology community (see the long list of credits on the version you are using).
The primary center for support and coordination is at
Accessible Retired Computers in Biology
Rochester Institute of Technology, USA
This work has been sponsored in part over many years by grants from the U. S. National Science Foundation, the U. S. Department of Energy, the U. S. NIH National Institute for General Medical Sciences and the International Union for Crystallography and by donations from members of the community of equipment, money, ideas and code.

May we trouble you to consider making a donation in support of the work on the development of RasMol, CBFlib, CQRlib and the other programs coming to you from the ARCiB project at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Your donation, added to the support received from grants will help us to add features to these programs, port them to additional platforms, and to resolve problems. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

This link: https://www.rit.edu/giving/makeagift/arcib will take you to the ARCiB fund donation page at RIT, or just wait a minute and we'll take you there automatically.

We would appreciate donations in support of the activities of the ARCiB project at the Rochester Institute of Technology . The work of the project includes support of development for molecular graphics and bioinformatics, including RasMol, CIF software and other packages related to structural biology, and distribution of compiled binaries of programs useful in structural biology.

This work has been supported in part by grants from the National Science Foundation, the U. S. Department of Energy, the U. S. NIH National Institute for General Medical Sciences and the International Union of Crystallography as well as by donations from members of the community like you. Until 2015 the project was a Dowling College. It is now at RIT.

Your donation will help us to add features to these programs, port them to more platforms and to resolve problems. Your donation will allow us to train students and maintain the infrastructure of the ARCiB lab. With your continued support our lab can handle and improve these and other packages in the future.

The funds you send will be a donation to Rochester Institute of Technology for support of this work. If you are a US taxpayer, you may be able to deduct this contribution on your income tax return. RIT is a nonprofit 501(c)3 tax-exempt institution of higher education. You should consult your tax advisor about the deductibility of your contribution.

Thank you.
